For the past 20 years they have raised a mix of Angus, Hereford, and other cross breeds that produce a high quality product that is hard to find elsewhere. They are open year round, and customers have always been welcome to stop at their farm. They do ask you call ahead to arrange an appointment. Please call Peter and Verna at 860-875-1062 to visit the farm at 516 Somers Rd Ellington, CT.

Mayflower Hill Farm - Ashford CT

Maple syrup, eggs, vegetable plants, greens, fruit and vegetables.

In 2018 Chris & Rachelle opened their farm in Ashford CT. They are farming to maintain a connection to their food, their family, and their community. They aim to produce farm fresh products for every season. Maple syrup in the winter, vegetable plants in the spring, fruits & vegetables in the summer, eggs all season, and Christmas trees in the late fall. Their vegetable garden is 100'x40', the orchard consists of 100 trees, there are about 600 christmas trees, and too many egg laying hens to count! Farm to table helps them to simplify their supply chain, provides a clear picture of where their food comes from, and offers their family and the community healthy choices. They certainly love what they do!

Carr Family Farm - Stafford CT

Dried herbs, vegetable/fruit/perennial plants, greens, vegetables, berries, and flower bouquets.

Nestled on the edge of Stafford, is where you can find Jess and Zack's farm. Since 2018 they have been producing a wide range of farm fresh goodies like; compost, vegetable plans, berry plants, flowering plants, salad greens, flower bouquets, vegetables and berries! Their son, Evan the Herb Kid grows herbs and sells plabts as well as dried herbs. Everything is produced right on their farm and is all natural and pesticide free. They open April 15, 2023, daily from 8:00-7:00 at 6 Gulf Road Stafford CT. farmct.wixsite.com/carrfamilyfarm-1

Matt's Patch - Enfield CT

Plants, microgreens, vegetables, honey & flowers.

What started from a love of gardening, Matt's Patch began in 2020 as a small plant stand offering friends and neighbors spring plant starts. A couple sunflower and pumpkin starts soon grew into nearly 100 varieties of peppers, tomatoes, mixed flowers, and vegetables. Matt's Patch also expanded late-spring and summer operations in 2021, adding produce to the market garden's offerings. Taste and Color are the primary focus of Matt's Patch when selecting and growing produce and plant starts. Matthew is currently a student entering his fourth year at the University of Rochester - but is always eager to spend as much time as possible "digging in the dirt" back home in Enfield Connecticut. He's a full time vendor for the season, so you'll be sure to see him a lot this summer!

Greenwood Holistic Farm

USDA Chicken and Pork

Tina and Dan from Greenwood Holistic Farm in Ellington made their dream come true in 2022 when they purchased their farm. They provide clean humanely-raised chemical-free food free from herbicide and pesticides. No commercial fertilizer is used, only what their animals provide back to the farm through their manure. At the Farmer’s Market they offer whole and all standard parts of USDA processed pastured-raised chicken and a limited amount of pasture-raised pork.
